Volunteer

Becoming a Volunteer with "I Have a Dream" can truly have an impact on a child's life. We have a variety of opportunities to participate in our program. We are also open to ideas. If you have a talent you would like to share, please let us know.

Tutor

When we resume after school programming in the fall we will have one on one and group tutoring opportunities available between 3:15-5:30 on Monday-Thursday. We will also have opportunities for tutoring within the school classroom.

Mentor

By becoming a mentor, you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with one with on of the Dreamers. A one-year commitment is required. Currently our mentoring opportunities are project-based and take place during after school program hours.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor to one of the students in our program, please contact Jen Matthews at pc@ihadasheville.org

Chaperone

Join "I Have a Dream" for field trips and community service activities around Asheville.

Teach a Class

If you have a talent you would like to share with a group of elementary school children (art, drumming, music, dance etc) we would love to hear from you.
